At the same time, my living environment shifted from the city to a place surrounded by nature. Working with indigo every day is a repetitive process. Yet, as long as it is done by hand, the same color is never created twice. Each time, it reveals a new expression. This sensation reminded me of something else. When I look up at the sky, sometimes it is a clear, uninterrupted blue; at other times, the moon, the sun, or clouds appear. I realized there was a commonality between them.
